Adopting the stage name Sizwe Alakine in the Amapiano realm, Reason expressed his commitment to creating music that he anticipates will dominate the airwaves as we approach the end of 2023.

Speaking during an interview on Turbang Studio during Kid X’s birthday celebration, the Top Seven hitmaker made a bet stating he is about to end the year on a higher note. “I’ve been cooking, I’m done in the kitchen now, I’m taking it out the oven now letting it set you know, I’m about to dish it out,” he said as he promised new music release.

On whether fans should expect something big from him this year, “let’s make a bet, I bet you a 1000 bucks live here. I’m gonna be the most overrated artist by the end of the year. I mean overrated, 2023, you just going to see me anywhere unnecessarily,” Reason added.
