Cassper and Busiswa Speak Out On The Mixed Reactions To Busiswa’s ‘Nokuthula’ Verse

Cassper and Busiswa Speak Out On The Mixed Reactions To Busiswa’s ‘Nokuthula’ Verse. Busiswa is a multi-talented artist who breaks the boundaries on every track she is featured on. The Banomoya collaborator took a break from Gqom and House to spit a few bars on Cassper Nyovest’s Nokuthula off his Any Minute Now album.

Cassper Nyovest released his Any Minute Now Session Vlog where he showed the process of him and Busiswa recording her verse for his hit single Nokuthula. Twitter was unimpressed about Cassper’s reaction to Busiswa’s verse.

A fan took to twitter to praise Busiswa’s verse saying that her verse is comical but relatable. He wrote, “How Busiswa told the story of village poverty on her #Nokthula verse is underrated. Yes the flow is comical but the content is relatable and slaps hard. Genius stuff Cassper Nyovest.

Busiswa responded saying that people who live in rural areas would understand the verse better. “You have it exactly right. If you’re from the rurals or know the life you get EXACTLY what it is. I’m glad someone gets it the way I intended it. Doesn’t always happen. It’s nice to know.” Busiswa wrote.

Cassper agreed with the fan saying that Busiswa even taught him a metaphor. “Busiswa is fucking dope and she said this in studio. She said the people who will relate to this verse are the ones from the village and a poverty background. She also taught me the saying about the cat sleeping on top of the stove and the metaphor behind that. I love that verse.” Cassper wrote
