After K.O.’s freestyle song Forecast 23 where he addressed his relationship with Ntukza, the latter made the decision to respond to his former bandmate with the song Long Road To Freedom. Ntukza’s track received a massive backlash from most SA hip-hop followers.

Long Road To Freedom was panned for its lack of vigour, weak bars, and poor output. Taking to Twitter, one of Ntukza’s followers expressed that it’s shocking that no one is paying attention to the lyrics of the song and he accused the fans of double standards. “It’s amazing that no one is paying attention to the lyrics, double standards. They must listen more to the lyrics & try to relate”

Ntukza responded by saying that the music sounds fantastic sonically and called the people who’ve been criticizing his work stupid for expecting him to employ the same approach as his adversary. “They’re so stupid to wana use the same strategy of quality as GYHO. that has nothing to do with such a quick reply. Besides, the song sonically sounds good. I sense pain somewhere,” tweeted Ntukza.

Ntukza further stated in a tweet that he believes that he will still go high with his new release despite all the negativity surrounding it. “You won’t do #LongWalk2Freedom what you did to #GYHO you won’t win. I’m still going higher with this song!”He wrote.

Not only has he been tooting his own trumpet, but the veteran rapper has also announced his intention to compete in a rap battle with the top rappers in the country. “I’d like to do a Verzuz with one of the best of the best rappers or musicians in the country. I bet all.. jokes aside the crowd will move better to my music,” wrote Ntukza in a tweet.
