Not only has new music brought SA rappers to the leading edge, but the recent unity in SA hip hop has been commendable. The rap game has been falling short because of the dominance of Amapiano, but rappers have been settling their differences in a bid to put hip hop at the top with new music.

In a video that has emerged on Twitter, AKA and Emteee can be seen embracing each other repeatedly, and at some point, The Super Mega can be seen rubbing Emtee’s face as a gesture of love. The smiles on their faces clearly showed that there is so much love between the two famed rappers.

AKA and Emtee are known to be on good terms, but they haven’t been spotted in public together in a long time, and that made their meeting at an event a special one. AKA has always expressed his love towards Emtee but he described the We Up hitmaker as a very complex character.

“I love Emtee but he’s such a complex character. For us to do a project we would have like, live in the same house or something for like a month to really grasp the concept,” tweeted AKA. Emtee has not only received love from AKA, but he has also mended things with his long-lost peer and friend in A-Reece.
