‘It Used To Frustrate Me A Lot’ Nadia Nakai On Nicki Minaj Comparison! For a long time SA Hip Hop fans have often compared Nadia Nakai to International rapper Nicki Minaj. According to Nadia Nakai this used to frustrate her a lot but has come to peace with it.

“At the beginning it used to frustrate me a lot. I just felt like people were trying to find things to discredit me for, I was just trying to be myself but people would always say haa your’e Nicki Minaj or whatever, and  i felt like they were trying to find holes to poke when i’m actually just trying to do what i’m trying to do but now it’s completely different because i’m so sure of myself as an artist,” said Nadia in a recent interview with Anele.

She went on to explain the reason why people compare her to Nicki Minaj because of their similarities. “The issue is that I’m feminine, I’m in-touch with my sexuality, I like girly stuff, I like colored hair, I like looking pretty and Nicki Minaj also likes those things,” said Nadia.
