Check Out The Wolf Pack’s New Cell C TV AD
The Wolf Pack seem to be an over night success but when you peep the product they deliver to their fans you will realise that they have been doing this for years. We might not be very familiar with the whole team but we can tell the team is star studded. Egg Films’ Lebogang Rasethaba directed Mega Data and Mega Bonus, two music video-styled ads for Cell C featuring Aewon Wolf and Sketchy Bongo from The Wolf Pack.
“I wanted to avoid making another ad where black people are dancing for airtime,” says Lebo. “I wanted to rather create something that belongs within a music video context, within that creative and visual language, so the dancing has context. So we had real musicians make a real song that was shot like a music video. If the cast weren’t dancing, what else would they be doing?”
They recently announced that they would be doing a campaign with Cell C for the Mega Bonus X Mega Data promotion and finally the TV advert is finally out. Check out the Cell C Ad which features The Wolf Pack and tell us what you think:
