Khuli Chana: ‘They Say I Tried Running Over Cops’! In the year 2013 Khuli Chana got involved in a misunderstanding with the Police were he got shot at. The rapper recently opened up on the matter in an interview on The Drive.
The rapper said that the incident slowed him down and took him to an emotionally dark space. “I got blessed with bigger opportunities in that time one of them was this Absolute partnership that came in 2014 when I was about to loose my mind,” said Khuli.
Khuli Chana went on to say that “This happened in 2013, so I’m at the peak of my career, I’m a machine and then that happens[the shooting]. You gotta also remember you know they try to spin it and say ‘I tried to run over the cops’ so now there was like a criminal charge, there was attempted murder and no brand wants to touch”.
