“Kanye West is referencing South African House Music” said AKA during his Twitter rant. The rapper has been very critical of the fact that a lot of the new school SA Hip Hop acts have taken trap to be their own.

He explained how he thinks there is nothing wrong with rappers rapping over Trap beats but what he has a problem with is the fact that a lot of rappers are just mimicking the way rappers from the States are rapping.

The Supa Mega went on to say there is a very thin line between Trap and Crap in SA. “KANYE WEST is referencing SOUTH AFRICAN HOUSE MUSIC when he asks producers to cook for him … So why are we looking abroad for inspiration?” asked the Supa Mega.
