Drake Responds To Meek Mill With A Hot Track

Meek has a history of beefing with his peers if they don’t ‘Tweet’ his album. Drake didn’t reply on twitter but dropped a track thats meant to be a diss but the man wasn’t really going hard at Meek if you ask me. The track is titled Charged Up. “All ya’ll stare in my face in hopes you could be the replacement,”  Drake rapped in the single.

Drake appears to respond to Meek’s accusation that he does not write his own material and, thus, that his music is not authentic.

“I’m honored that you think this is staged,” Drake raps. “I’m flattered, man / In fact, I’m amazed / The perfect start to the summer, man this [shit] is a doozy.”

Elsewhere in the song, Drake appears to target Meek Mill specifically, making note of his sales history.“I see you [niggas] have trouble going gold,” Drake raps on “Charged Up.” “Turning into some so-and-sos that no one knows / Or so it go / Come live out all your dreams out at OVO.”

Drake also seems to refer to Meek Mill’s relationship with Nicki Minaj.“No woman ever had me star struck,” Drake raps. “Or was able to tell me to get my bars up.”
