Kanye west recently tweeted about how people should not focus on the originality of an idea. “too much emphasis is put on originality. Feel free to take ideas and update them at your will all great artist take and update,” tweeted Kanye. He went on to talk about how he got mad when he heard someone using his idea and then remember’s he got it from somewhere else.

Local rappers like Cassper Nyovest, AKA and Tellaman who have been trashed for using samples or borrowed flows on their songs before. “Can you imagine that they still tell me stuff like “you sample too much” … imagine. Thank You YE. You have given us a sign,” read Supa Mega’s reply to Kanye Wests tweet.
Cassper has been ridiculed for the flow he used on K’Sazobalitt. He highlighted his highly controversial single K’Sazobalitt after he had seen the tweet.
