‘Iv’e Sold Over 20,000,’ Kwesta On His Unreleased Shoes! Kewesta is one of the most entrepreneurial rappers in South Africa, taking into consideration the moves he has made in the past. The rapper has his own record label which he started with Kid X and an entire fashion line.
It seems like Kwesta Dakar has decided to venture into selling shoes now and it seems to be working out for him. “I said If I can sell CD’s I can definitely sell shoes… I never knew shoes sell better than CD’s. They launch in June but we’ve already moved more than 20,000 pre-sales. We’re going for DIAMOND!,” tweeted Kwesta.
With the tweet came a picture of shoe boxes with the rappers name on it. The rap game has definitely evolved on the local scene, and it has done so rapidly. SA Hip Hop in it’s entirety, from the time it took the spotlight done things that took the American Hip Hop industry longer although the genre is still growing and has a lot more to explore.
