‘Why Should I Be Social Now?,’ Emtee On Being Rude! Emtee has been undeniably one of the most impactful musicians of his generation although he has been in the game for only a little over 3 years. The rapper has been crowned the clapback king because of his savage responses on twitter.

Emtee recently spoke in an interview with American publicaction Noisey about why he is rude to a lot of people of social media. “People expect me to be all social, but I don’t like that. When I was broke, I wasn’t social, so why should I be social now? I can be social with people that I know are gonna take me somewhere in life,” said Emtee.

The rapper said that he socialises with the people that were in his life before he was famous. “I can come to the store and chill with the gang because I know they work for this sh*t as hard as I do. People are in disbelief that this kid is this big. I used to walk these streets. I used to walk to production companies. Ten-mile walks. But now that I’m here it’s different.”
