Kid Tini Reveals Why He Wasn’t Nominated At The #SAHHA2019 & How He Feels About Ginger Trill’s Win. The South African Hip Hop Award ceremony may have come and passed but they still left fans with more questions concerning their favourites.
From all the big time rapper who were nominated at the #SAHHA2019 including Flame, Nasty C, The Big Hash, YoungstaCPT, Nadia Nakai, Touchline, Gigi Lamayne, 25K, Cassper, Riky Rick and Yanga Chief to say the very least, Kid Tini didn’t make any list.
When fans didn’t see Kid Tini on any of the nomination categories they assumed it wasn’t fair. At the time he didn’t state why. After dropping Get Money & Sound Mind EP in addition to a few successful singles, fans felt he deserved at least one nomination and possibly a win.
The Ambitiouz Entertainment rapper put fans to ease when he revealed that he didn’t get nominated because he didn’t submit any of his projects. He didn’t explain why he didn’t submit but did state who he had his money on on the category of ‘Lyricist Of The Year”.
“I didn’t submit but all the best to the nominees n em. I got my money on Trill tho,” he tweeted.
As he wished Ginger took the award home and Tini was sure to pass a hearty congratulation to him.
“??Ginger fucking Trill.. you called it long ago bro!!! Congrats big homie @ginger_trill,” wrote Tini.
