Nasty C’s Recent Reaction To A Statement That He Lied About Being Offered A Deal By Jay Z

Nasty C’s Recent Reaction To A Statement That He Lied About Being Offered A Deal By Jay Z. Social media continues to prove just how it holds the power to create and destroy things, at times it’s theories that are laid out as facts leading to major confusion.

Back In 2016 in the high rise of Nasty C, news emerged that Roc Nation (Jay Z’s label) offered him a deal. He rejected the deal and chose Mabala Noise. Speaking to 5FM at the time he said explained why he made such decisions.

“Mabala Noise was the move that I wanted to make. So, regardless of what Roc Nation had to say…I don’t think it really mattered,” Nasty C said.
The Hell Naw rapper went on to explain that Mabala Noise offered him a contract that he could not turn down.

“I’m happy with what I got. It wasn’t a 360 deal. It wasn’t a random artist deal. It was something that I always wanted. I always said: ‘If I sign, it will be under these terms’, and Mabala brought those terms,” he added.

Unfortunately things took a turn for the worst with the label and he had to leave. Now a tweep has brought up the news again.

The tweet suggested that Nasty C lied about being offered a deal by Hov.

“@Nasty_CSA Didn’t Turn Down The Deal With Jay Z. He Wasn’t Even Offered Any Deal To Start With. The Publicity Stunt Was For Exposure And He Got Hyped From Then. They Are All In One Circle, Jay Z Only Played Part Of That Stunt Because Nasty C Was Already Recruited Under Masons,” wrote the tweep.

In response to the tweet which he retweeted he laughed it off without any thorough explanation.

“We never really got to meet in person with Roc Nation, we were just communicating everything over the phone and were trying to work everything out,” Nasty C told The Citizen in 2016 July.
