Sho Madjozi Details Making Queen Sono Soundtrack With Sauti Sol! International recognized South African Netflix series Queen Sono is definitely making waves across the globe. The drama has been credited that it tells a real African story. One thing also to notice is sound tracks of the drama which are in alignment with the story line.

South African Sho Madjozi is featured in one of the series’ sound track Disco Matanga (Yambakhana) alongside Sauti Sol and Black Motion. During an Expresso Show interview, Sho Madjozi and Sauti Sol highlighted that Yambakhana means rebel so the song was in alignment with the story line as the character Queen Sono was also rebellious.

When the John Cena rapper was asked about her part of the song she highlighted that Sauti Sol’s verses where an attack of a rebellious child and her verses were a voice of that rebellious child who would not listen or take advise like the Queen Sono character.

“So these guys are singing about a rebellious kid who does not listen …When its time to do my verse I’m like you know what instead of me attacking this kid, I’m gonna be that kid i’m that one who does not listen who doesn’t follow the rules. So I came to it I’m talking my staff and at some point I’m like I’m the principal… That to me does fit Queen Sono cause she doesn’t listen no one is gonna tell her what to do and she is very naughty. Sho Madjozi revealed.
