AKA Announces New Partnership With Sony Music & Vth Season! AKA has had a rather bumpy journey throughout his career changing from one record label to another and becoming an independent artist.

The rapper was first signed to Vth Season who he released his debut album Alter Ego with and later had a fallout leading him to Sony Music Africa. He then dropped his second album Levels which was recently certified double-platinum under Sony Music but which he then separated with and started his own company Beam Group which he is now in the process of shutting down.

Cheers to the FUTURE!!! ,” read AKA’s tweet announcing that he had just signed a deal with both his former record labels.
