Kwesta Sits Down With The AHHB To Talk About DaKAR II Release Date, The Open Letter And So Much More

While Kwesta was putting the finishing touches on his third album, DAKAR II – the AHHB caught up with the K1 rapper in studio while he as recording to listen to the unreleased material and talk about the album.

In the interview Kwesta discusses his first single Nomayini and the story behind the joint. Kwesta wants the people to be involved in whatever he is doing so he spent sometime working as a parking attendance because what they represent is trying to do it yourself.  The rapper also goes in depth about the  infamous open letter to 5FM about the station playing more Hip Hop music without favor.

Kwesta also talks about the downs with being a lyrical rapper since it has become easier to sell a beat and a chorus. Dakar makes it clear that he wants to drop the best album known to man, he is going all the way  with his next album and is challenging himself like he has never done before. Kwetsa also announces that he wants to drop DaKAR II in September though there is not a set release date.
