Drum Magazine Threatens Proverb

Drum Magazine is popular for having the most exclusive gossip in town but after their latest issue people are questioning their credibility. Proverb says he refused to give any publication an interview after he confirmed the rumors about his wife having an affair. Proverb and his longtime wife are still together and are still happily married but surprisingly Drum has a story about them breaking up and Proverb saying he is ready to move on.

Proverb found himself on the cover of this months issue of the Drum Magazine and according to Drum Proverb is ready to leave his wife. Obviously Proverb was not happy about this and took his side of the story to social media and trashed the recently published story about him. Today Proverb uploaded a screenshot of a conversation he had with the journalist responsible for the story and this is how the conversation went:

Hopewell (Journalist From Drum Magazine ) – So, you are trying to discredit us, so let’s see how this pans out.

Proverb- I never did an interview with you regarding this matter and pleaded with you to spare my family. You can threaten me all you like but I will continue defend my family with all my might.

Hopewell (Journalist From Drum Magazine ) – I respect you and your what you do, but… do whatever makes you sleep at night, or not. Proverb–I sleep just fine at night. I didn’t say any of those things to you except that I will say nothing as I wish to protect my family. Everything else you made up.

Proverb- You’re welcome to try and destroy me or my name or my brand or my career, what I will not stand and allow you to do is destroy my family. My grandmother, my parents and my relatives and extended family all take what you write as gospel and even most of the public at large, but I have God and the truth on my side. Goodnight.
