Malome Vector Drops The First Hip hop Album Of 2022. Malome Vector is no stranger to producing hits. He has made a reputation for himself in the rap game through local songs. Rapper grabbed the limelight after the release of “Price To Pay” and “Dumelang” two of the biggest SA hip hop songs of that time.
The Lesotho born rapper has remained consistency in dropping hits after hits under Ambitiouz Record Label. The rapper shared on Twitter a reminder of the release of his new album in December last year. He highlighted that he will be dropping a new album ‘Karabo’ in 2022. “07/01/2022 #karabo” ? he tweeted.
Malome Vector is the first SA hip hop artist to release an album in 2022. The project is dedicated to his beautiful daughter Karabo, hence the name “Karabo.” The rapper has attracted features from the likes of Wave Ryhder, Ntate Stunna, Blaq Diamond among others to grace his 18 track album. Malome Vector has done the most in the rap game and he has produced the unique sound of hip hop rapping in Sesotho.
The Lesotho rapper mentioned that he chose to be different and he doesn’t want to be like any other rappers who rap in English. “I love Sesotho and for me to rap in my mother tongue allows me to outshine even myself. A lot of people rap in English. I don’t want to be just anybody who raps, I want to be different. Rapping in Sesotho is not common in South Africa. I don’t know of a mainstream Sesotho rapper from here.” He said.
