Cassper Joins Forces With AKA’s Distribution Company Vth Season. Raphael Benza’s Vth Season distribution organization is home to numerous well-known South African musicians, including Ami Faku, ManuWorldStar, and the late AKA. The boutique record label’s fame stems from its lengthy and tumultuous relationship with the deceased rapper Keirnan Forbes.
Following the passing away of AKA, the record label also experienced a massive loss to one of its biggest brands. However, a few weeks after AKA‘s passing, Vth Season debuted Supa Mega’s rival Cassper Nyovest on their Instagram promoting his show in Kampala Uganda.

The Supa Mega was murdered in Durban last month and his fans, family and friends are still coming to terms with the passing of the rapper. For Vth Season and other people in the music industry it is now business as usual despite the passing of Kiernan. That has shocked and angered most of AKA’s fans and SA hip hop sympathizers as they learnt that Forbes’ rival has joined his distribution company.
“Our idol get brutally killed and already y’all have moved on? Literally after one month and y’all already moved on like nothing happen to KJF? The fans and family seems to be the only ones seeking for justice, I guess it’s time we as the MEGACY unfollow this page and everything you are pushing,” a comment read.
Although the majority of fans are opposed to Vth Season’s decision to collaborate with Cassper Nyovest, some argued that the distribution company must still earn money. Hence bringing Cassper on board is strictly a business decision and not personal.
“To everyone saying the company is betraying AKA and should have waited longer this is not personal it is business. Same way AKA was on stage performing 1 month after his wife passed way. It does not mean he was not heartbroken but he had to carry on with work. Death happens but life/work/business has to go on. They need a client that will bring them big booking fees and Cassper is the best fit,” a comment read.
