Released on January 24, 2020, the 17-track album has since emerged as an emblem of artistic prowess, firmly establishing PdotO as a key figure in the SA Hip Hop scene. Taking to Instagram, the rapper expressed gratitude in celebration of 4 years of Cold Waters. He also gave credit to every artist who played a role in the success of his body of work.

“4 Years Ago Today I released My third Album Cold Waters. Grateful for the journey, HBD CW🖤✍🏽 Bless every creative who helped me put it together.” wrote PdotO.

Within the album, the rapper delved into themes of nonconformity and the challenges of being disloyal to friends. Adding to this, the Pretoria-based MC made sure to assert his status as one of the greatest to ever wield the mic.

The success of PdotO’s artistic portfolio wasn’t solely dependent on his own rap skills and music production acumen. The Pretoria-based rapper also collaborated with well-established artists like Big Zulu, Kid X, Sky Nomonde, and Khumo Leff, enhancing the project with exceptional sonic brilliance.

Before his third studio album release, the rapper dropped two remarkable bodies of work– “Devilz Playground” in 2017 and “Under The Sun” in 2018. Both of these albums garnered significant acclaim from fans.
