Kwesta Reacts To Spirit Music Video Haters! Kwesta’s Spirit music video has been one of the most watched SA Hip Hop tracks in 2018 reaching close to 2 million views on YouTube. Despite the success of the video, the rapper has had a couple of problems because of the video.
The BCCSA received complaints about the video because of chicken slaughtering scene in the video. This was just the start, Kwesta is now facing people who are criticizing his music saying that he’s using politics to make a name for himself. This all came after he had added his two cents on the matter of the Nelso Mandela Foundation approaching the equality court to make an appeal for the banning of Old South African Flag.
The statement that Kwesta offended some South Africans who voiced their thoughts on Kwesta using his music video to send a message.
“His rapping (can’t call it music, as for that you need a talent) is not making him as famous as he wanted. Now he uses cheap political publicity to make a name, or atleast to be heard of. Any Publicity is good publicity! Leave the ouk… This is the attention he was looking for,” commented a person on a facebook post by Letters From White South Africa.
When a fan brought this to his attention telling him that they are coming out for him, he simply replied “They need to get through you first…
