“We deliberately did NOT submit for these awards” Says Cassper About The SAMAs

Cassper Nyovest did not submit his work to the SAMAs. “They want to know what I think about the SAMA’s, fuck it, shall we continue with the Saga/ Major record labels never loved us” rapped Cassper Nyovest on a remix of a song titled ‘Z’khupane’ by a Zimbabwean rapper called Cal_Vin.

Nyovest has been pretty vocal about how he feels that the major award shows are funded by major record labels which means it is harder for an independent artist to get the recognition they deserve at the award ceremonies.

Cassper did not receive a single individual nomination at this year’s SAMA Awards and he is not pissed at all. The rapper actually knew that he was not going to be nominated before they announced their nominees and this is because he did not submit.
