Ifani Talks About “Being Gay”

Hip Hop is one genre that accepts most types of people no matter how different you are but for the longest time being gay has not been accepted in the culture. You can be a gay fan, but gay rappers or rappers who have gay tendencies have been heavily descriminated against.

It’s clear from the way iFani dresses and even his bubbly personality that he was born to be different but with being different comes a lot of hate from people who don’t understand what him and this is something that is normal when you trying to stand out.

iFani realised there is still a lot of homophobic segregation in our communities. “Some people aren’t ready to accept that being gay is No Longer an issue” says the Xhosa rapper. “Let go of  these defenses and embrace our differences,” said iFani.
