During an IG LIVE talk with Da LES, Riky expressed how he found Sizwe’s behaviour of dragging Mega to be distasteful. It was initially perceived by most viewers as defending AKA. Rick clarified that he wasn’t defending anyone.
The Cotton King tweed that he was merely defending the culture from people like Sizwe Dhlomo.
“Yall making this about defending AKA, its not. If you watch the full live I clearly said I DONT agree with some of the things AKA says and does. For me Im just noticing how as a culture we always let people that arent with us in the trenches s*** on artists,” wrote the … rapper.
Riky went on to pay compliment to Sizwe on his achievements to prove he held no ill motive.
“This not about picking sides. Siz has done ALOT and we look up to him for how he’s built up what he has. Cant take anything away from his journey. Brothers like that are needed in the trenches to build the culture. Especially rn as the system collapses for all artists,” added Rick.
