Rouge Reveals Who She Would Rather Feature Between Nasty C & A-Reece. Despite not being extensively involved in the rap scene, Rouge remains one of the prominent female SA rappers who have significantly contributed to the culture over an extended period. The renowned rapper’s musical perspective continues to hold significance for some of her fans and the culture at large.
Rouge arranged a Q&A session for her fans in anticipation of her album’s lead single release, “iYstylie Galore,” inviting them to ask about anything about her music career. Taking to Twitter (X), one of Rouge’s followers asked her who she would consider collaborating with between Nasty C and A-Reece.
“#iYstylieGalore if you could only feature one between Nasty C and Reece who would it be?” Read the post. In response, Rouge said that considering where she is music-wise she would rather opt to work with Nasty C. However, the Bongo Zaka hitmaker acknowledged both rappers for their exceptional music delivery stressing that she loves them both.
“Soooo difficult cause I love then both for different things! Hmmmmmmmm but for where I am at right now sound wise let’s say nasty. iYstylieGalore,” Rouge said.
While Rouge’s choice may have favoured Nasty C, it’s essential to remember that the dynamic nature of the music industry often leads to unexpected collaborations, and artists have been known to work with peers across various genres and backgrounds. Hence, a collaboration between A-Reece and Rouge is not avertable.
Rouge has worked with various of reputable rappers in SA making hit songs with the likes of AKA, Moozlie, and Emtee. With that in mind, it will be interesting to see who she featured on her upcoming album which she is yet to announce the release date.
