#TBT: HHP – Jabba Video
HHP released a smash hit titled Jabba back in the mid 2000’s. Hip Hop Pantsula a.k.a. Jabba is a popular South African Motswako rapper who’s real name is Jabulani Tsambo, who frequently performs in ethnic languages, though mostly Setswana. The legend has been kicking raps for the longest time and was once the biggest artist in SA.
Raised in Mmabatho, HHP’s break came in 1997 when he and his school friends met with renowned producer Chicco Twala who produced their debut album “Party”. The band split soon after the release of Party.
Since it’s Thursday we decided to throw back HHP’s Jabba. ‘Jabba’ was released in 2007 when HHP was at the peak of his career and he couldn’t do no wrong. His music was so authentic SA fell inlove with it. Check out HHP’s Jabba:
