DJ Speedsta Announces Forthcoming Single “Sticky” Feat Yanga Chief & L-Tido. DJ Speedsta is poised to make an impression once more on the South African Hip Hop scene, marking his return after a significant hiatus from dropping new music.
With an impressive track record in South African Hip Hop, marked by the release of numerous chart-topping hits, Speedsta has declared his readiness to unveil fresh music. Taking to Instagram, the famed SA Hip Hop DJ announced that he will be dropping a new single joint titled Sticky featuring Yanga Chief and L-Tido. NEW MUSIC ON THE WAY!! Speaking during an interview on Choppin It Wiith Bhuda T, Speedsta expressed that the genuine support from his fans has served as a significant motivation for his return to music-making, especially considering his initial plans to step away from the music scene.
“I was gonna stop making music that’s what I thought I would do but you always bump into someone, I bumped into this kid the other day and is like ‘Yo dude can I take a picture, he’s like you have no idea, you got me through high school.’ You hear things like that, then you are like okay let me make some music,” Speedsta said.
“So those are the kind of people who’ve kept me going, I am in the studio making music. I would like to drop an EP on this side of the year because I do have songs that have been just sitting there. So I’m putting all of that together. I’ve been on an 8-month holiday, I haven’t been working, so I’m here, I’m in Joburg, I’m busy every single day. Whether I’m editing podcasts or I’m in the studio or I’m doing interviews.”
