NFVF Celebrates Rouge As The First Female Rapper To Win ‘Best Micro-Budget’ Film Award At The SAFTAs12. Did you know that Rouge isn’t only limited to dropping lit bars and owning the game but she is also a female rapper who has broken boundaries.

It is Wednesday today, meaning special women are counted as Woman Crush Wednesday. The Bazigally rapper is today the WCW for NFVF(National Film & Video Foundation) Films which reminded people that she once won an award at the SAFTAs12 For ‘Best Micro-Budget’ Film.

Films made on the mainstream circuit with inexperienced or unknown filmmakers can also have low budgets. Rouge isn’t only limited to being a rapper but a film mastermind as well.

“Deko Barbara-Jessica Wedi, known to many as @Rouge_Rapper, is the first Female Rapper to win at #SAFTAs12 for “Best Micro-Budget Film”. Today, this multi-talented game-changer has to be our #WCW #LoveSAFilm,” wrote the organization.

She won the award a few years back when not many people knew her. She thanked the NFVF for the reminder of how he isn’t a baby in the industry but has been pushing for years.
