AKA Gets Involved In A Lawsuit For Sampling An 80’s Song! Over the years AKA has sampled quite a number of South African hits from the past in an attempt to preserve South African music.

In the attempt to preserve South African music, AKA sampled Enos Thembinkosi Lubisi’s hit song, Party Weekend on his 2016 hit single titled One Time. According to Sunday World, Lubisi filed court papers at the South Gauteng High Court on Wednesday (8 August) last week.

Apparently the rapper offered to apologize for not crediting the 68 year old musician and claimed to have looked for Enos Thembinkosi Lubisi but was hard to locate.
