SA Hip Hop Mag 2016 Freshman Class Part 2
SA Hip Hop’s Freshman Class in 2016 has some amazing rappers. For the last 20 years or so, SA Hip Hop has been building up to this point and thank God we are finally here. The game has reached a point where rappers are eating and because of that the upcoming rappers are getting hungrier and hungrier. With that being said, we have decided to create a list of the SA Hip Hop Mag Freshman list 2016:
6. E-Jay CPT
E-Jay has been doing this Hip Hop thing for a minute seeing that he is day ones with Tweezy and Youngsta. After the release of Party Ekseni E-Jay has been buzzing and getting airplay from major radio stations.
7. Shane Eagle
Shane Eagle is a 19-year-old rapper who entered the Vuzu Hustle last year and even though he did no win, the homie managed to get himself a deal with JR’s Feel Good Music Record Label. Since then Shane has been on records with legends like Proverb, heavyweights like Kwesta & Reason, plus he has also released his own music which has received airplay from major broadcasters.
8. Bigstar Johnson
Bigstar johnson got into the game soon after he won the Vuzu Hustle and he has been doing the most since. The homie’s buzz is undeniable and he has managed to find his way into the heart of the masses through his the presence he just possesses. The homie is signed under the same management as AKA and Tresor.
9. Kid Tini
Kid Tini is one rapper who will convince you he is destined for greatness just by listening to any of his music. After the release of his mixtape titled ‘Coming of Age’ we have seen several A-list rappers msuch as KiD X, Kwesta and Reason Tweeting about the 18-year-olds music.
10. Tshego
Most of us first met Tshego on Cassper Nyovest’s debut album titled Tsholofelo on a track titled ‘Cold Hearted.’ After the release of the song Family Tree could not help but sign the talented artist. Tshego has since released his mixtape titled Since 1990 and he has been buzzing since.
