Burna Boy Opens Up About How He Met AKA

Burna Boy has opened up about how he met AKA. In the last two years we have watched Burna Boy rapidly becoming one of the most loved artists in South Africa and he has also fallen in love with SA & it’s people.

We knew about Burna Boy before ‘All Eyes On Me’ but we started listening to his music religiously after AKA released his sophomore album Levels. From the outside it seemed as if the homies had been boys for a while before they actually started making music together but that’s not how it went down.

“I didn’t even know AKA personally at this time. We knew of each other and we liked each others music but we had never really met. He just pretty much called my manager and sent the beat for the album. A couple of hours later I sent it back and that’s how we just became brothers” said Burna Boy in his F78 interview in the U.K.
