DMX Welcomes His Fifteenth Child Into the World

DMX has enough children to fill a Rugby team now with his latest addition, a baby boy by the name of Exodus Simmons, his fifteenth offspring, TMZ reports. Baby Simmons came into the world on Friday weighing 6 pounds and 10 ounces. The mother is DMX‘s longtime girlfriend Desiree and Exodus is her first child.

Although the 45-year-old rapper missed the baby’s delivery because he was in Arizona, he immediately flew back to New York to welcome his newborn son.

DMX tells TMZ that he is overjoyed and calls Exodus a “blessing.”

During DMX’s 11-year marriage to his ex-wife Tashera Simmons, he had many children outside of their holy covenant. One baby mama sued the rapper for defamation and child support resulting in a $1.5 million order for DMX to pay up.

In 2013, he filed chapter 11 bankruptcy due to his child support obligations.
