There is a possibility that we might be showered with new sounds from both rappers as the Nay’le chanter is being reported to be making a return to music. Taking to Twitter, Reason expressed his excitement as he announced that he has received vocals from Maggz.

Reason’s tweet can only mean one thing and that is the SA hip-hop veterans are on the brink of giving out something special for the game. “Oh shit. @Maggz100 ’s vocals are in. #Ejardin gonna be special.” 😭 Tweeted Reason.

Maggz has been absent from SA hip hop for a while now and him making a return to the game could mean a lot to the culture. Due to the rapper’s Soweto heritage, his music was a hybrid of Kasi rap and traditional rap with a boom-bap influence. During his rap career, Maggz combined Zulu and English rhymes with the same mastery as his rhyme partner, the late Pro.

Throughout the years, Maggz he has been a massive contributor to SA hip hop. Maggz’s entire career has been an aberration, with him switching between cliques and labels, changing his style, and promising an album virtually every year since 2010.

He has contributed epochal verses to songs by Da L.E.S, Show Love, Riky Rick, and many others, including “On Fire,” “Heaven,” “Something Else,” “Lendlela,” and “Amantombazana.”
