AKA explained how he got his stage name for the first time on Coke Studio. The Supa Mega has been in the game for a long time and the one thing he has never been asked to explain is what his name ‘AKA’ means to him and how he got it.

The rapper has been in the game for 9 years now and he only really became AKA 6 years ago. There was no looking back for the Supa Mega after the release of his debut album titled ‘Alter Ego’ which took him straight to the top.

AKA was asked what his stage name means and he said he went with AKA because he does a lot of things. “I’m a producer a.k.a songwriter a.k.a performer and so on and so on.”
