SA Rappers React To Rihanna Becoming A Billionaire. South African rappers have reacted to the news that musician Rihanna is now a billionaire, according to Forbes Magazine. The global superstar is now worth an estimated $1.7 Billion according to Forbes magazine, making her the richest female musician in the world all thanks to her Fenty Beauty Empire.

Rihanna’s financial status is being admired by people across the world and even here in Mzansi people have been taking note. Rapper Cassper Nyovest, who is working hard to become a billionaire himself retweeted the good news about Riri and said “Motho waka ke billionaire (My person is). Obviously, this is a sign of things to come for mem“.

Cassper Nyovest has several businesses under his belt such as having his own record label, Family Tree. He recently released his own sneaker The Root Of Fame 990 under local sneaker brand Drip Footwear owned by Lekau Sehoana. Cassper’s partnership with Drip is part of the “Legacy Deal” an R100 million deal.

K.O has also been inspired by the global artist’s moves and tweeted that it is clear now that money from music is not enough to make an artist wealthy. K.O is not only a musician he is also a record label owner, Skhanda World and produces his own merchandise under his label. “Potential musicians & those that are established, hope it’s clearer now than ever that the relative income we amass in this space is not enough to make us wealthy! Your success here is just leverage for bigger things outside music! Jay, Diddy, Ye, Rih… you see it”.

Boity retweeted the Rihanna is now a billionaire, the rapper has been making strides outside of her being a rapper as she creates her own empire. Boity’s empire has seen her launch her own, hair care products Boity Hair Care, perfume Boity Pink Sapphire and her own beverage BT Signature. Gigi Lamayne also posted the good news on her stories, showing she is proud of the boss moves Rihanna has made.
