Hopsin Denies Criminal Conviction: “I’m still allowed into Australia and have no criminal convictions”
Rapper Hopsin shares that he hasn’t been convicted of any crime despite all the headlines surfacing yesterday (September 7) suggesting that he’s been convicted in Australia for assaulting a woman in Australia.
The 31-year-old took to his Instagram page to share that he’s been honest with his fans about what happens in his life from the beginning of his career so this time won’t be any different.
In his post Hopsin shares that he’s still allowed into Australia and that he was not convicted of any crime after appearing in front of a judge.
“[J]ust to clear the air, Im still allowed into Australia and have no criminal convictions,” he says. “The judge read right through the over exaggerated bullshit being thrown at me and worded it as ‘trivial’. Ive done harm to nobody. I’m good.”
The rapper was initially worried about being banned from the country after this incident but that has not happened. He also shares that he will soon be releasing a song about his experience and that he’ll be sharing nothing but the truth with us as he has a lot to say.
