The Weeknd is coming back and he’s coming back with a bang and he’s bringing Saturday Night Live along with him.

The award-winning R&B singer and song writer is set to be a guest on the season premiere of SNL.

Earlier this week Weeknd shared that his forthcoming album Starboy LP will be in stores by the 29th of November. Along with that Weeknd shared the album art which showed the artist with a fresh new cut.

Although he hasn’t worked much on his own work this year, Weeknd appeared on songs by Kanye West, Beyoncé, Future, and Travis Scott which set the tone for what we should expect on his new album.

Starboy will be the follow-up to 2015’s Beauty Behind The Madness album.

The 42nd season of Saturday Night Live featuring The Weeknd is set to air October 1 on NBC.
