The founder of A$AP clothing brand and the American model, record producer and rapper, ASAP Rocky was born Rakim Mayers on 3rd October 1988 in Manhattan, New York city. He started rapping at the age of 8, when he moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He grew up admiring Harlem-based rap group, The Diplomats. In 2016, he collaborated with the American clothing brand, Guess? to manufacture the brand’s vintage 90’s clothing that he wore while growing up.
