Pearl Thusi Reacts To Missing Out On Emtee’s Cotton Fest Durban Performance Emtee’s affection towards Pearl Thusi has recently been the topic on social media platforms. The Hustler might not have the chance to date the Queen Sono actress now, but there seems to be no love lost between the two.

Emtee was amongst the artists who graced the Cotton Fest event in Durban and since the event was held in Pearl Thusi’s hometown, there were chances that the two would meet and mingle. Unfortunately, otherwise happened.

Taking to Instagram, The Zulu actress expressed her disappointment at missing Emtee’s live performance. “Missed Emtee’s performance at Cotton Fest,” wrote Pearl Thusi adding heartbreak emojis. Even though Pearl Thusi was so eager to witness Emtee perform, however, she had a good experience performing with Emtee’s rival Big Zulu.

Big Zulu performed some of his love songs to Pearl Thusi and the two had a good but the same could not be said about Emtee.

Taking to Twitter after the event, Emtee said he was taken aback by AKA and Riky Rick’s passing and being reminded that they were not there on the night. “Sh*t was overwhelming. Riky, Kiernan so much on my mind. Wanted to cry for real. I wasn’t drunk. I don’t drink alcohol. Seeing the people of Durban for the first time in a long time. I was just emotionally f***d bout a lot. Still am,” tweeted Emtee.

With Emtee currently finalizing his DIY 3 album, Pearl Thusi has expressed that she is on the verge of venturing into music and she would love to work with Emtee. “I’d love to do that, I’d love to actually do that umuntu wami actually, Emtee and you guys leave Emtee alone,” Pearl Thusi said after being asked if she would consider working with Emtee during an interview with DJ Fresh.
