The American recording artist from Chicago, Illinois, Young Thug was born Jeffery Lamar Williams on 16 August 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the second youngest of eleven children. In July 2013, the American magazine, Complex included him in their list of 25 New Rappers to Watch Out For. The American online magazine, Pitchfork, ranked 1017 Thug as one of the best albums of the first half of the 2010’s decade.
