Kid X Opens Up On How K.O Discovered Him! Kid X has become one of the most prominent names in the SA Hip Hop industry who has helped shape the South African sound.
The rapper was first introduced to the rest of South Africa after he had been signed by K.O to his record label Cashtime back in 2011. Kid X was in a recent interview with The Plug magazine where he was asked how K.O discovered him.
“There was a gig, top of 2011, K.O and L-Tido I think it’s around the time they were promoting We Rolling. So we pulled through to the gig, met K.O, had a convo on his way out… not about much he just made me aware that he’d heard some of my stuff, my english stuff but what he was really interested in was if I could rap in vernac to which I answered yea,” said X responding to the question.
