“I am in conversation with mayor Mzwandile Masina,” Kwesta Slams Social Media Rants & Takes Action

“I am in conversation with mayor Mzwandile Masina,” Kwesta Slams Social Media Rants & Takes Action. Kwesta has expressed how he feels nothing will be done if people constantly use social media to debate when real action demands to be taken.

The way things have escalated on social media on the topic of femicide and Xenophobia is astonishing. The discussions of the matter have led to arguments among celebrities and citizens. Basically a major division has been caused between nationalities, tribes, races, class and gender etc. Most blame social media for encouraging propaganda and promoting hate.

For the above mentioned Kwesta felt people are further adding into the damage. He and Reason called on fellow celebrities to take action and stop hiding under keyboards. To prove he was willing to set motion his words he claimed to have had a conversation with the mayor Mzwandile Masina.

“I am in conversation with Mayor @mzwandileMasina trying to work out solutions and actions. This after @ReasonHD urged me to. Tweet that! Tweet your attempts.. Not your ability to bash. Your celebrity status is a powerful weapon. Use that for the good you preach,” he wrote.

In addition he tweeted that celebrities must stop using public platforms at this time for clout.

“Clout and propaganda are working against us. You are “celebrities” because the people celebrate you. Don’t stop giving them reasons to. Please celebrate them but standing together and with them. You owe them right now. We all owe them. #StopXenophobia Love.”
