Kid Cudi returns to the stage after rehab for ‘Suicidal Urges’, Rapper has performed for the first time since being treated for “depression and suicidal urges”. The Pursuit of Happiness singer played a 50-minute set on Saturday at the Long Beach ComplexCon in California, one month after checking into rehab.
The 32-year-old told the crowd he was “overwhelmed” after enduring a “lifelong struggle with anxiety and depression. Listen, I miss every single one of you, I love every single one of you,” he said. “I know life is crazy, we can make it through. I am living proof!”
Pharrell Williams joined Cudi on stage during the show.
Performed their new single Surfin, while Travis Scott accompanied the rapper on their track Through the Late Night. After the show, Williams shared a picture of the two backstage. Cudi told fans his next album Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin’ was on the way, and would feature contributions from Outkast’s Andre 3000, Travis Scott and Pharrell Williams.
