Lil Uzi Vert Explains How His Face Tattoo Helped Him Get Focused On Rap. The 22-year-old rapper opened up about how he quit his job after working for just four days at a Philadelphia grocery store and that’s when he decided to focus on music.

Leaving the job after four days angered Lil Uzi’s mother which led to him getting kicked out of the house. This led to the rapper getting a face tattoo which is something that led him to having to focus because he couldn’t get employed.

“It was like, If I get this face tattoo, I got to focus,” Uzi said. “I can’t go in nobody’s office with a suit on with this shit on my face. I got to focus on what I want to do” explained the 22-year-old rapper.
