DJ Speedsta Proposes An Idea He Is Sure Would Improve ‘DJ Of The Year’ Category At That SAHHAs. DJ Speedsta may be entangled in heated twars from time to time, but he is all about uplifting the game.

When the SA Hip Hop Awards released a list of nominees, artists who made it including Speedsta couldn’t be more delighted with the inclusion. As much as the No Stress artist is aiming to win, he felt that the category needs to be expanded so is the on of Song Of The Year.

“I think the conversation you guys should be having around the “DJ of the year” Category at the #SAHHA2020 is that it should be made bigger so have 10 nominees moving forward. It’s always been 5 but the DJ scene has grown, the category has grown. It’s up there with Song of the year” in my opinion.

“That’s the conversation you’re supposed to be having. Because the way you’re going about it now is basically saying the people nominated aren’t supposed to be there & that’s when I get mad. That’s when I can get real nasty,” wrote Speedsta.

Hip hop DJ Zan D expressed why he feels the category should remain on 5 nominees.
