A-Reece Gives A Shout Out To Amapiano Artists, Here’s Why

A-Reece Gives A Shout Out To Amapiano Artists, Here’s Why. A-Reece is one of the SA rappers that insisted on sticking to rap rather than amapiano. Most SA rappers left the scene when the rap game was a little slow because of the yanos’ appearance and supremacy in the local music scene.

With most rappers accepting that amapiano is here to stay, others have begun to enjoy the sound and have created good relations with yanos artists.  Taking to Facebook, A-Reece took time to give a shout-out to the Yanos artists for all the love they have been giving him at shows.

The rapper expressed his appreciation stating that at the end of the day, it’s all love. “just wanna shout out some of the Amapiano artists that have been showing me, love, at shows and here on the socials. I appreciate it yo. it’s all love.” Wrote A-Reece.

In the past, A-Reece had problems with rappers who jumped onto the amapiano bandwagon. The rapper implied that rappers who are doing amapiano don’t see rap as a culture but as a commodity, they can just gain from. “They don’t see hip hop as a culture they see it as a commodity,” tweeted A-Reece.

A-Reece has been a massive contributor to the hip-hop culture and it’s not surprising that he is getting his flowers from Amapiano artists. Recently, his fellow rapper PdotO took to Twitter and praised Reece and his contribution to the rap culture. “Artist like A Reece made people want to listen to rap music again. I applaud that sh*t,” tweeted  PdotO.
