K.O Explains Were He Stands With Remaining Cashtime Members
Mr Cashtime K.O has finally come out to talk about were he stands with all the remaining artists at CashTime Life. And obviously, we all witnessed the departure of Kid X, Moozlie and Maggz which of course left us wondering if any of the remaining artists might leave anytime soon. And the big question is on our lips right now is, ” What is Cashtime’s future looking like?”
Therefore, answering the question of where CashTime is heading, K.O seems to have developed a different approach in making sure that all remaining CashTime memberswill reach their maximum potential.
“With all the people on board right now, we are not really doing record company work. We are more of a lifestyle and management brand where we can only create properties around whatever an artist is doing. So, it’s not our job to chase after the artist to put out some music.”
“So, if you are a moving artist, you will put out some hot music and of that we can create different extensions. Whether it be clothing brand, a tour property or whatever it is that we can do for you.”
Last year, Ntokozo Mdluli, popularly known as K.O, received a lot of backlash when artists left his label, CashTime Life, due to opposing ideas. The Skhanda Love rapper told us that in 2017 he would no longer be signing artists as he only wishes to focus on his own career. KO said after helping other artists he ended up looking like the bad guy once they left the record label.
Artists currently signed under the CashTime Life label include DJ Viilante, Maggz and MaE, and he insists that they will be responsible for their own careers. “If each one of them wants to release music, that’s what we will do, but I’m not involving myself in anything else,” K.O said firmly.
