LayLizzy Wins Best Hip Hop Act 2016 Awards at Vodacom Awards
One would definitely say, “What a great way indeed it is to start the year.”Following his latest feature on the 2017 HYPE Magazine’s Freshmen Edition, as clearly captioned, Laylizzy is built to takeover. Having managed to create a huge buzz over a short period of time, Laylizzy was nominated and ultimately took home the accolade for the Best Hip Hop Act 2016 at the Vodacom Ring back Tunes Awards which took place in Mozambique recently.
The 1st Vodacom Ring back Tunes Awards serve to reward artists who are part of the Vodacom RBT platform and being among some of the biggest acts in Mozambique, Laylizzy was nominated under the Best Newcomer and Best Hip Hop Act 2016 Categories.
Making things even more interesting, the award for Best Hip Hop Act was presented to Laylizzy on stage by his personal producer, the also multi award winning, Ellputo.
The event started off with a dramatic performance by Laylizzy, filled with stunning, special effects, great energy while Ellputo handled the keys, continuously keeping the crowd hooked, making the whole room pledge allegiance to the new faces of African music.
Laylizzy promises to continue with delivering great musical content for all those that support his music while of course, getting to tap into larger parts of Africa and outside of the continent.
