Kid X dropped some of the hardest bars at UJ FM recently. When someone gives Kid X a challenge he’s not one to back down – and the rapper didn’t disappoint when the Breakfast show Dj AB Dacosta asked him to freestyle without a beat.
The rapper, who was one of the first artists signed to Cashtime Life at its formation, shocked the nation last year when he announced on SABC 1’s Live Amp that he had parted ways with the label. The news sent shockwaves across the country as fans flooded social media with their thoughts on the announcement.
After remaining largely quite after the announcement, Kid X has finally given his side of the story, explaining that, most importantly, he needed to grow but more than that, him and the company were not on the same page. But during the interview, Kid X confirmed that he is still on good terms with Cash time after his departure.
